Science & Innovation Push: Clean Economy

âš  This is a flightplan, not a commitment. Flightplans are hypothetical policy proposals modelled in the Ducklings causal simulation. They become projects only when voted into adoption through Consensus. Metrics shown reflect simulation model outputs, not real-world outcomes.

Overview

Climate debates consistently called for just transition and green job creation. CCS debate proposed retraining programs for displaced workers. Biodiversity debate called for investment in rural infrastructure and clean economy. Research spending drives innovation index which feeds productivity growth. Chain: science_research_spending -> innovation_index (+0.25, d8), clean_energy_employment -> gdp_growth (+0.05, d4).

Ducklings Simulation

This proposal is active in the Ducklings causal simulation (Epoch 69). The simulation models downstream effects using a BFS cascade engine with strength-weighted, time-delayed edges capped at 3-hop depth and ±25% per-hop limits. Cascade outputs are bounded by variable saturation thresholds.
