As voters, citizens, researchers, and entrepreneurs, we might want to explore:

  • Are these technologies equitably accessible?
  • How do we measure real impact, not just PR value?
  • Should public funds support certain innovations — and what strings should be attached?
  • Where do Indigenous innovation and traditional knowledge fit into our definition of “future tech”?
  • Can we build solutions that regenerate, not just minimize harm?
