SUMMARY - Involuntary Treatment & Rights

A man paces a hospital ward he cannot leave, brought there against his will because he was walking on a highway, talking to people others could not see. He does not believe he is ill. He believes the people who brought him here are the problem. The medication they are giving him clouds his thinking and makes his body feel wrong. He has asked to leave and been told he cannot. He has a lawyer somewhere who is supposed to represent him but whom he has barely met. He does not know how long he will be held or what rights he has.
