SUMMARY - Suicide Prevention Services
A mother finds her son's journal open on his desk, the words inside making her blood run cold: detailed thoughts about ending his life, a plan taking shape across pages, pain so deep she does not know how she missed it. She does not know what to do. Call an ambulance? Take him to the emergency room? Talk to him? She is terrified that doing the wrong thing will make things worse, that saying the wrong words will push him over an edge she did not know he was standing on. She needs help, immediately, but she does not know where to find it or what to ask for.
