SUMMARY - First Responder Mental Health
A paramedic arrives at a scene to find a child who has been struck by a car. The child is the same age as her own daughter. She does what she is trained to do, works the code, makes the calls, loads the patient, and it is not until later that the image of that child's face comes back to her, and back again, and again, at random moments that shatter whatever she was doing.
