Too often, meaningful conversations are shut down before they start.  Whether by algorithm, outrage, or fear of judgment, citizens are left with nowhere to ask questions, voice concerns, or challenge assumptions especially on sensitive or controversial topics.

It starts on neutral ground.  Not to lead the conversation.  Not to police belief.  But to make space for the civic process to unfold freely, respectfully, and transparently.

We are in the process of migrating some of the site servers into a unified drupal instance.  In this process, we are moving the content of flightplan, ducklings and communities into the pond site in an effort to simplify the authentication systems and how they operate ecosystem wide.  The consensus site will remain isolated to ensure that all polls and voting systems remain isolated for identity protection.  The other sites will be moved into a unified identity system.
